Prioritize the irregular giants
The most common Spanish verbs are almost all irregular — ser, ir, tener, hacer. Frequency is exactly why they stayed irregular, and why they are worth mastering first.
Verbs are the engine of every Spanish sentence — you simply cannot say what happened without one. This list contains the 100 most frequently used Spanish verbs from our 10,000-word corpus, ranked by real-world usage and shown in the infinitive.
The list is packed with irregular workhorses like tener (to have), hacer (to do/make), and poder (to be able to). These verbs appear in a huge share of all Spanish speech, so they deserve the most practice time.
Each verb comes with an example sentence showing it conjugated in context. In Lingular, verb questions appear constantly during battles, so the meanings become automatic long before you drill conjugation tables.

The most common Spanish verbs are almost all irregular — ser, ir, tener, hacer. Frequency is exactly why they stayed irregular, and why they are worth mastering first.
Knowing that lograr means "to achieve" is useful immediately, even if you can only use the infinitive. Conjugation is a separate, later skill.
Once you know poder → puedo, you can predict contar → cuento. Spotting the o→ue and e→ie families cuts the memorization load dramatically.
