• Game data — XP, level, vocabulary stats, equipment, and leaderboard scores.
• Usage analytics — page views and feature usage via PostHog (self-proxied, no third-party cookies).
• Technical data — IP address, browser user-agent, request timestamps (for rate limiting and security).

• Provide and improve the Lingular learning experience.
• Send transactional emails (verification, password reset) via Resend. We never send marketing emails.
• Maintain leaderboards and player profiles.
• Detect abuse and enforce rate limits.

We do not sell or share your personal data. Third-party services used:

• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• PostHog — product analytics (data proxied through our servers).
• Cloudflare — DNS and CDN.

Account data is kept while your account is active. You can request deletion by contacting us. Analytics data is retained for up to 12 months.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing [email protected].

We use localStorage for authentication tokens and game state. We do not use tracking cookies.
